Simon Hunt started his current company in January 1996, having founded Brook Hunt in 1975, a consultancy which still carries his name. He began his business career in central Africa as a Personal Assistant to the chairman of one of the two copper companies,moved to London to work for Anglo American Corporation in various capacities before helping to start up a producer organisation. He then spent a few years in the City of London to gain financial experience after. He spends 4-5 months each year in Asia, a large part being in China, which he first visited in 1993
